Carlin O'Connell

Carlin O'Connell has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They began their career as a Marketing Intern at Sportsman's Warehouse in 2016, followed by a Marketing Promotions Intern position at Colorado Eagles Professional Hockey, LLC. In 2017, Carlin worked as an Account Management Summer Associate at AMN Healthcare and as the Publications Director at Kappa Alpha Theta, where they were responsible for writing newsletters and managing external and internal chapter publications.

Carlin then joined Catapult Creative Labs as a Marketing Intern, supporting event activation, content creation, and public relations. They also interned at Decibullz Custom Molded Earphones and Earplugs during the summer of 2018.

In 2018, Carlin served as an Operations Coordinator at Warren Miller Entertainment, providing financial, logistical, and administrative support to the in-house and travel teams. They managed schedules and travel logistics for national tour road crew teams and assisted in financial reconciliation for the US film tour.

Carlin also gained experience as a Marketing Intern at Radial Development Group, where they integrated marketing growth programs, developed technical case studies, and created an intern onboarding process.

From 2020 to 2022, Carlin worked at Outside, first as a Client Success Coordinator/Events & Experiences and later as a Sponsorship Manager, handling client success and managing sponsorships.

Currently, Carlin is employed as a Media Strategist at rygr, where they contribute to media strategies and planning.

Carlin O'Connell completed a Bachelor's Degree in Business Marketing and Management at Colorado State University from 2015 to 2019. In addition to their formal education, Carlin has obtained several certifications including Making Great Sales Presentations from LinkedIn in March 2020, Hootsuite Platform Certification from Hootsuite Academy in November 2017, Inbound Marketing from HubSpot Academy in March 2019, and Content Marketing from Hubspot Academy in November 2017.
