Jerome Ternynck

Jerome Ternynck is a seasoned entrepreneur with extensive experience in the recruitment and technology sectors. Currently serving as Co-Founder of Rypples since April 2024, Jerome focuses on accelerating sustainable ocean-positive solutions by investing in entrepreneurs committed to protecting and restoring the ocean. Previously, Jerome founded and led SmartRecruiters from September 2010 to October 2022, successfully raising over $200 million to redefine recruiting technology. Prior roles include Co-Founder and CEO of MrTed Ltd, which became a leading global talent acquisition vendor, and co-founding Talents Technology, a major staffing service in the Czech Republic and Poland. Jerome also played a pivotal role in establishing Accord Group ECE as a top recruitment services firm in Central and Eastern Europe. Jerome's early career included serving as an Aspirant in the French Army, where leadership and training of new soldiers were key responsibilities. Jerome holds degrees from Université Paris Dauphine, INSEAD, and Académie militaire de Saint-Cyr Coëtquidan.
