SoonFay Yee

SoonFay Yee has been working in the software engineering field since 2014. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at Bionik Labs as a Software Engineer. During this time, they also worked as a Research Intern at Ryerson University, where they collaborated with a team of 7 to study the effect of Binaural Beat audio signal effect on human brain signal and possible application in bio medical field. SoonFay also took initiative to design a GUI for experiment purpose with Matlab software to generate Binaural Beat signal from different methods using signal processing tools. In addition, they worked as a Student Worker and Tutor at Ryerson University and Central Technical School Toronto, respectively. In 2018, they joined RYSE as a Software Engineer and managed a team of 3 for the software development team. SoonFay also collaborated with UI/UX designers and implemented UI/UX of the mobile application, and implemented and supported both Android and IOS native app that is being used to communicate with a hardware product via Bluetooth Low Energy.

SoonFay Yee attended Ryerson University from 2011 to 2016, where they obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering.
