Joe Decanio

Joe DeCanio is an experienced executive with a diverse background in technology, law, and business management. Currently serving as the Chief Revenue Officer at RyteBox since January 2024, Joe has previously held significant roles including General Manager of Royalties at EXACTUALS LLC, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing music royalty administration and SaaS product development. As the President & CEO of Backlash Solutions from 2008 to 2020, Joe founded a company focused on SaaS music royalty accounting solutions, which was sold to Exactuals LLC. Earlier career positions include Vice President at JPMorgan Chase, Managing Director at Proxicom Inc, Patent Attorney at Scully, Scott, Murphy & Presser, Project Manager at Maintech Inc, and Systems Engineer at Plessey Electronic Systems Engineering. Joe holds a Juris Doctorate from St. John's University School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Pratt Institute.
