Kladno hockey club was established in 1924 (since 2011 Rytíři Kladno). Club have achieved many both team and individual records in hockey history. It have won 6 league titles (1959, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1980) and 1 European trophy (1977). Kladno hockey club have produced many top class players who have proved their skills in many leagues around the world including NHL, Eliteserien, SM-Liga, KHL etc. To name some of them - Jagr, Patera, Prochazka, Vejvoda, Frolik, Zidlicky, Plekanec, Voracek, Tlusty, Pavelec, Tomas and Frantisek Kaberle and many others.
