Lawrence Au is currently the Director of Design & Technical Development at Ryvid Inc., where they design and engineer electric motorcycles. Previously, they were the Lead Designer and Co-Founder of Brooklyn Motorized Corp, overseeing the design of electric motorcycles from concept to production. Their extensive experience includes roles as Senior Design & Engineering Manager at Summit Steel and Manufacturing, Lead Designer at Evolve Electric Motorcycles, and Senior Design Engineer at Luminati Aerospace & VTOL. Additionally, Lawrence served as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Pratt Institute, teaching industrial design at both undergraduate and graduate levels while consulting through their own firm, Au Design. They are pursuing degrees in Industrial and Product Design at Pratt Institute and the College for Creative Studies.
