S-composition is an art company created in 2004 by the composer and director Jean-Pierre Seyvos. Through experiences and artistic collaborations, it has become a real collective whose artistic direction is now assured by Jean-Pierre Seyvos and Chloé Latour. 

In search of new polyphonies, this collective has the particularity of opening spaces of sharing and creation between people of all ages and all origins: high level professional artists, amateurs, citizens, people living in the same territory. 
Nourished by all the performing arts, its approach is multidisciplinary and often associates in its creations researchers in human sciences (anthropologist, philosopher, sociologist, geographer, landscape architect) and in the sciences of the Earth system (geochemist, ethologist, biologist). 
This collective seeks to develop new skills and new abilities to compose together a common world, more adjusted to the earth realities. Projects of S-composition all aim to develop an ecology of perception, listening and attention, a form of sensitive intelligence that allows us collectively to face the great challenges of our time. They also seek to build new bridges between arts, sciences, politics and people. 

Each show, each project is intimately woven with the realities and circumstances that gave birth to it. They aim to create with people (and many non-humans...) forms of artistic inventions and exchanges that allow us to represent the world differently and to develop together new "habitability skills" (inhabiting the world/being inhabited by the world).
