Merel Smit

Merel Smit is a GZ-psychologist at 's Heeren Loo, where they serve as a therapist, lead treatment provider, and diagnostician. Previously, Merel worked as a psychologist at Multi Plus Zorg en Dienstverlening, focusing on providing support to children and youth with mild intellectual disabilities. Their earlier roles included project leader at de Bascule and various therapeutic positions, where they engaged in treatment and training for children with externalizing issues. Merel holds a Master's degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology from Utrecht University and is pursuing further education in body-oriented psychotherapy.
