Tom Villinger is the CEO of D11Z. Ventures GmbH & Co. KG since January 2006, where the company has evolved from the Zukunftsfonds Heilbronn and Born2Grow into a prominent venture capital entity investing in technology-oriented start-ups globally. With nearly 20 years of experience, Tom has facilitated market access for start-ups, focusing on innovative firms in the Heilbronn/Southwest Germany region. In addition to this role, Tom currently holds various investor and shareholder positions across several companies, including akirolabs, Ventus Technologies GmbH, Innkeepr, Aleph Alpha, act'ble GmbH, Rocket Tutor, s2 data & algorithms, RevoAI GmbH, and Semorai GmbH. Tom's educational background includes an Executive MBA from Schiller International University and a degree in Economic Geography from Goethe University Frankfurt.
