Alan Raphael has over 16 years of work experience. Alan began their career in 2004 at Epic as a Technical Services employee in the Identity/EMPI (Enterprise Master Patient Index) team. In this role, they were responsible for system integration, duplicate record scrubbing, database conversion, troubleshooting, and providing technical and operational solutions. Alan also acted as the project manager for multiple million dollar plus system installs and database cleanup efforts.
In 2008, Alan moved to S3 Matching Technologies as a Business Analyst and Software Developer. Alan's responsibilities included finding solutions for duplicate checking involved in the Texas Medicaid provider enrollment and billing process. Alan was also part of a team that designed, developed, and implemented an inventory management and billing system for British Telecom and Proctor and Gamble.
From 2011 to 2012, Alan worked at NocPlace as a Product Owner. In 2012, they moved to Mattr as a Data Scientist and Software Developer. Alan's responsibilities included analyzing structured and unstructured data from various sources including social networks to provide insight to brands and advertising agencies. Alan also developed algorithms, designed and planned the back end of products, and implemented machine learning algorithms to improve automatic classification of influencers.
In 2017, Alan joined Sift EHR Consulting as a Partner. In this role, they were a consultant specializing in solving healthcare data challenges. Alan's experience included Epic/EHR integration, duplicate patient analysis/scrubbing, fuzzy matching of records, ETL, data warehousing, web development, open scheduling, and API usage/development.
Most recently in 2020, Alan joined S3 as a Client Data.
