Simon Kartar

Simon Kartar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and technology consulting. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Satellite Applications Catapult since January 2019, Simon leads complex systems projects that leverage space technologies for sustainable agriculture and climate resilience. Prior to this role, Simon was the Sustainable Earth Mission Lead at the-grey-matter.co.uk Ltd and held various consulting positions, including Business Technology Consultant, focusing on integrated ICT solutions and effective project management. Simon's earlier experience includes working as an IT Business Partner at CfBT Education Trust, where responsibilities involved account management and client service management. Simon also contributed voluntarily as a school web manager while pursuing a successful career in web management and development at CfBT Education Trust. Simon holds a First Class Honours degree in South Asian & Caribbean Studies from London Metropolitan University.
