Will Hutton

Will Hutton currently serves as President of the Academy of Social Sciences and Co Chair of The Purposeful Company, with additional roles as Associate at both the Oxford Martin School and the London School of Economics Centre for Economic Performance. Hutton has been a Non Executive Director at Satellite Applications Catapult since January 2014. Previously, Hutton held the position of Principal at Hertford College, University of Oxford from September 2011 to August 2020 and served as Trustee of the Scott Trust from January 2006 to January 2017. Hutton was Chief Executive of The Work Foundation from January 2000 to January 2008, and Editor In Chief of The Observer from January 1996 to January 2000 after working as Economics Editor for The Guardian from January 1990 to January 1996. Hutton's academic background includes a degree in Economics and Sociology from the University of Bristol.
