John Almquist

John Almquist is an experienced professional in project and business management with a strong background in the public transport and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Sub Project Manager at Saab since March 2023, John coordinates mechanical and electrical engineering teams to ensure effective project execution. Previously, John held various managerial roles at Trafikförvaltningen from August 2018 to February 2023, including Business/Contract Manager and multiple Acting Manager positions, where responsibilities included overseeing contractor performance in public transport. Earlier experience includes business development at BBH Arkitektur & Teknik AB, technical engineering at Transdev Sverige, and design engineering roles at Epsilon Sweden and Etteplan. John holds an MSc in Vehicle Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and has additional coursework in pedagogy from Stockholm University.
