Lars Schylberg

Lars Schylberg is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and cloud-based mapping solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Company Specialist at Saab since 2002, Lars has led significant projects in architecture, design, and implementation of innovative GIS technologies from 2013 to 2017. Previous roles include System Architecture lead for the European Defence Agency, Chairman of the Digital Geographic Information Working Group, and contributions to the Network Centric Operations Industry Consortium, where Lars authored the NCOIC NIF Service Orientation Framework. Lars began a career in GIS analysis with The International Civil Aviation Organization and held specialist positions at Enator companies. Academic achievements include a PhD in Digital Cartography and Geographic Information Systems and an MSc in Surveying from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, alongside foundational engineering studies.
