Luis Hernandez

Luis Hernandez has extensive experience in the defense aerospace sector, currently serving as Director at Saab since August 2015. Previously, Luis held the position of Program Director at Mectron EIC from February 2012 to March 2015, where responsibilities included contract and project management for missile programs. At Embraer, from April 1997 to June 2011, Luis excelled in various leadership roles, including Director of the F-X2 Program, where technology transfer and commercial agreements were key focuses, as well as Director of Contracts for the Defense Market, overseeing defense aircraft sales contract negotiation and management. Other positions at Embraer encompassed responsibilities for planning and new product development, project management for the Aerial Common Sensor Program, and technical sales support. Luis holds an Engineering degree in Electronic Engineering from ITA Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica, completed in 1979.
