Per Alriksson

Per Alriksson is a seasoned professional in the defense and aerospace sector with an extensive career spanning several decades. Currently serving as the Managing Director of SAAB Aeronautics Austria GmbH since November 2015, Alriksson has held various key roles at Saab, including Senior Sales Executive and Campaign Director for Gripen in Belgium. Prior experience includes working as a Program Manager for Aircraft Systems at the Swedish Defence and Security Export Agency and serving as Defence Attaché in Budapest, Sofia, and Zagreb. Alriksson also has a background in military operations, having held leadership positions such as Head of Air Operations Section at both the Joint Forces Command and the EU Battlegroup Operational Headquarters. A former fighter pilot for the Försvarsmakten, Alriksson operated J35J Draken and JAS39 Gripen aircraft. Educational credentials include advanced studies at the Joint Services Command and Staff College and the Swedish Defence University.
