Ylva Larberg

Ylva Larberg has extensive work experience across multiple industries. Ylva has worked at Saab since 2014, starting as a Team Leader in Structural Analysis and later progressing to roles such as Manager Project, Transformation Office Manager, Head of Hardware Engineering, and currently as the Head of Design. Their responsibilities at Saab have included structural analysis, environmental and structural testing, FE analysis, planning qualification tests, and writing requirement specifications.

Before joining Saab, Ylva worked as a Consultant at Alten Sweden from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they were a PhD-student at KTH from 2005 to 2013, focusing on their research. Ylva also has experience as a Skipper and leader at Skeppsholmsgården, where they were responsible for sailing camps for youths.

During their early career, Ylva worked as a Confectioner and Salesman at Stockholms Glasshus from 1999 to 2002, specializing in manufacturing ice-cream cakes and selling coffee and ice-cream in the shop/café. Ylva also served as an Assistant/Secretary at Utbildningsförvaltningen, Stockholms Stad from 1999 to 2000, where their tasks included recruiting students and office administration.

Ylva Larberg earned a Master's degree in Vehicle Technology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2005. Ylva continued their education at the same institution and obtained a PhD in Lightweight Structures from the Department of Aeronautical and Vehicle, completing their studies in 2012.
