Xavier Ruiz

Xavier Ruiz has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Xavier began their career as a QA Engineer at SFR Business in 2013, where they played a significant role in developing a web tool for B2B agents. Xavier was responsible for creating test strategies, user stories, and automated tests, as well as training teams on new functionalities.

In 2016, Xavier joined Generali as a Big Data Engineer, where they contributed to the implementation of a Big Data initiative for CGO. Xavier also took part in the EYES project, focusing on data quality and regulatory reporting for Solvency 2 compliance.

During the same period, they joined BI consulting as a Practice Leader DataOps, where they led the data operations practice until 2022.

In 2020, Xavier joined Allianz France as a Tech Lead Manager. Their responsibilities included managing a team of data engineers, ensuring cost and deadline compliance, and overseeing infrastructure and supervision projects.

Currently, Xavier holds the position of Head of Professional Services at Saagie. In this role, they are responsible for managing teams and ensuring a smooth experience for clients. Xavier is involved in recruiting, training, and leading the dedicated teams, as well as participating in key client meetings.

Throughout their career, Xavier has gained expertise in various technologies, including Elastic, Logstash, Kibana, Python, Scala, Spark, Gitlab, and others.

Xavier Ruiz completed their education in a chronological manner. From 2011 to 2016, they attended ECE. Ecole d'ingénieurs. Engineering School, where they obtained a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Systèmes d'information. In 2014, they briefly attended Concordia University for Information System Engineering, and in 2015, they also had a short-term education at Aalborg University for Ingénierie des systèmes.
