Thomas Cherian

Thomas Cherian is a Principal Software Engineer at Saama since September 2020, with a focus on converting machine learning models into backend systems using Python, building data pipelines with Apache Airflow, and deploying applications on cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP via Docker and Kubernetes. Prior to Saama, Thomas held the position of Product Developer at iMorph Innovation Center and served as Google Developer Student Club lead, where an invitation was received to participate in the inaugural DSC Summit 2018. Thomas also worked as a Technical Lead at Flytta, a Developer with Avancer Software Solutions, and completed an internship at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, contributing to BOSS-MOOL. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science.
