Shaima Khan

Shaima Khan is a seasoned risk management professional with extensive experience across various roles. Currently serving as the Head of Operational and Resilience Risk and Risk Chief Operating Officer at SAB since July 2019, Shaima also participates as a Board Risk and Compliance Committee Member at SAB Invest since December 2020. Previous positions include Board Risk Committee Member and Chief Risk Officer at SABB Takaful, as well as multiple roles at HSBC, including Global Insurance Senior BRCM Manager. Shaima holds an Honorary Doctorate in Embedding Risk Culture across the Three Lines of Defense and has completed several executive education programs, including the Cambridge Rising Women Leaders Programme. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in International Finance and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Business Management, both from Kingston University.
