Kevin Van Workum

Kevin Van Workum, PhD, is an accomplished executive in the technology sector, currently serving as CEO and CTO at Sabalcore Computing Inc. since February 2000. With a strong foundation in academia, Kevin held the position of Professor of Mathematics and Physics at Howard County Community College from January 2006 to January 2008 and was an Adjunct Professor of Chemistry and Mathematics with the US Navy from March 2004 to March 2006. Kevin's engineering expertise was honed as a Senior Engineer at Lakota Technical Solutions Inc. from January 2006 to January 2007, focusing on advanced algorithm development for weapons systems. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Scientist at NIST, where scientific applications for thermodynamic properties were developed from October 2002 to March 2004. Kevin earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2002 and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida in 1997.
