Lungile Binza

Lungile Binza currently serves as the Chief Digital Officer and Group Executive: Technology & Digital at SABC since May 2020. Prior experience includes positions as Chief Information Officer at FNB South Africa (February 2017 - May 2020) and the SA Mint Company (October 2014 - January 2017), as well as acting CIO at SA Mint from November 2012 to September 2014. Earlier roles span from Head of Information Management at Liberty Life (August 2011 - August 2012) to Data Warehouse Manager and Project Manager at ABSA between 2005 and 2011. Lungile Binza's educational background features a Master of Commerce in Information Systems from the University of Cape Town, an MBA from the University of Pretoria, and ongoing doctoral studies at the University of Cape Town, alongside various qualifications in business administration and computer science.
