Andrew Kells

Andrew Kells is a highly experienced professional in the chemical and fertilizer industries, currently serving as Chief Scientist and Global Technical Leader for Fertilizers at SABIC since June 2011. Kells leads technology programs for ammonia, urea, NPK, and liquid fertilizers, drives the development of new products, and coordinates extensive fertilizer technology activities across multiple research centers. Prior to SABIC, Kells held key management roles at Kilwaughter Chemical Co Ltd and Irish Fertilizers Industries, overseeing significant production and commercial operations. Andrew Kells started career as a Process Engineer at Exxon Chemical Co Ltd, enhancing operational efficiency at a major refinery. Kells holds an M.Eng with distinction in Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds, an MBA in Financial Strategy from The Open University, and a Diploma in Quarry Technology from the University of Derby.
