Ben Smith

Ben Smith is a Senior Cost Manager at SABIC, where they have been employed since 2012. Prior to this role, Ben served as a Senior Cost Engineer at Parson Brinckerhoff for a short period in 2012 and held various positions including Senior Quantity Surveyor at Severfield from 2006 to 2012, and Quantity Surveyor at Lionweld Kennedy Flooring Ltd from 1995 to 2001. Ben began their career as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor at Baker Mallett LLP in 1992 and also worked briefly as an Assistant Project Engineer at Reyrolle, Hebburn in the same year. They developed their expertise further at AMEC as a Cost Engineer from 2001 to 2006, focusing on shutdowns and maintenance work across the UK.
