John Janssen

John Janssen is an experienced professional with a career spanning several decades in engineering and maintenance planning. Currently serving as a Sr. Contractor Supervisor at SABIC since 2012, John is responsible for overseeing contractors involved in maintenance activities, ensuring safety, environmental standards, and project completion within scope and budget. Previous roles include RTT Scheduler and Maintenance Field Planner at SABIC, as well as positions at USG Innotiv and HC Metaal where John focused on preparing and planning mechanical projects. Prior to that, John held the role of Mechanical Engineer and Project Coordinator at Akzo Nobel Chemicals, managing project execution and materials specification. John began a career in the defense sector as a mechanic and driver with the Ministerie van Defensie. Academic qualifications include degrees in piping and apparatus construction, CAD drafting, and mechanical design.
