Mark Wierts

Mark Wierts possesses extensive experience in quality management and engineering, beginning with a role as a laborant at DSM in 1997-1998, followed by various positions in prominent companies. Mark served as Assistant Product Manager at Johnson Matthey bv from January 2002 to December 2006, where interactions with global sales teams facilitated innovative solutions for customer challenges. Progressing to Senior Quality and Product Life Cycle Specialist at Johnson Matthey Colour Technologies (2006-2012), responsibilities included the implementation of automotive core tools. Mark continued as Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer at Oce (2012-2014), overseeing quality for packaging materials and machining parts. A Senior Lead Auditor at LRQA Nederland (2014-2021) and LRQA (2021-2022), Mark specialized in ISO9001 and IATF16949 standards, emphasizing continuous improvement. Since January 2017, Mark has owned Wierts Quality Assurance, focusing on tailored quality management systems for organizations, drawing on expertise in ISO9001:2015 and IATF16949. Mark holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Engineering from HS Zuyd (2009-2012) and a MLO degree as a Chemical Analyst (1993-1997).
