Prashant Kumar

Prashant Kumar is an accomplished Lead Scientist in ETP Technology at SABIC, with extensive experience in process development and implementation for advanced polymer production technologies, including next-generation Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT) and Carbon Monoxide (CO) processes. With a career at SABIC spanning over a decade, Prashant has held various roles, advancing from Product Development Engineer to Senior Scientist and ultimately Lead Scientist, driving significant projects with budgets exceeding $100 million. Prior experience includes a Graduate Research Assistant position at Georgia Institute of Technology and an internship at DuPont Teijin Films. Prashant holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Bath.
