Steve Rust

Steve Rust, CSP, is an experienced safety professional with a robust background in occupational safety and health management. Currently serving as the AMERICAS Regional Safety Specialist and Health & Safety Manager at SABIC since March 2011, Steve oversees safety operations for a multi-business chemical facility with over 1,200 employees and significant daily contractors. Previous roles include Senior EHS Facilitator at Mead Johnson Nutrition, where Steve led the facility to VPP Star Certification, and Site EHS Engineer at GE Plastics, managing safety for multiple plants. Steve's early career features positions as EHS Manager at GE Consumer & Industrial Motors and Branch Manager at Quad City Safety, Inc. Steve holds an MS in Occupational Safety & Health and a BS in Occupational Safety & Health from Murray State University.
