George Dobbin

George Dobbin has over six years of work experience in talent acquisition and development. George currently holds the position of Head of Talent Acquisition and Development at Sabio, where they started in March 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Recruitment Specialist at CGI from September 2018 to March 2020. George also served as a Recruiting Partner at Capita from October 2017 to September 2018. Their earliest work experience, from August 2014 to October 2017, was as an Executive Consultant at MBN Solutions, where they successfully built a 360 recruitment desk and specialized in various sectors such as analytics, data science, IT, and digital marketing. Throughout their career, George has demonstrated skills in sales, executive search, customer relationship management, stakeholder management, and business development.

George Dobbin attended Ballymena Academy from 1997 to 2004, but did not earn a degree or specify a field of study during that time. In 2006, they started their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Virology at the University of Glasgow, completing it in 2010. Additionally, they obtained certifications in "How to Use LinkedIn Learning" from LinkedIn in April 2020 and as a "Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)" from the Scrum Alliance in December 2019.
