Simon Oliver has over 15 years of work experience in the technology industry. Simon began their career at Electronic Arts as a Quality Assurance Tester, testing video game software for bugs and compliance. Simon then moved on to Rocket Telecoms, where they installed and maintained Avaya IP Office PBX systems for small to medium-sized businesses.

In 2005, Simon joined MTV Telecom as a Technical Support Engineer, providing remote technical support for reseller engineers using Avaya IP Office, Siemens HiPath, and Swyx platforms. Simon was later promoted to Technical Support Supervisor, overseeing a team of engineers and managing the internal IT infrastructure.

Simon then joined Avaya as a Customer Support Engineer, providing remote technical support for Avaya's Premium customers in the EMEA region. Simon later became a Technical Service Manager, acting as the single technical point of contact for one of Avaya's largest managed services accounts in EMEA.

Following their time at Avaya, Simon worked at ScanSource Europe as a Technical Support Engineer, offering pre and post-sales support for Avaya Communication Manager and IP Office systems. Simon also managed the internal test lab and handled system configuration.

Simon then joined Verizon Business as a Lead Consultant Engineer, providing lifecycle engineering services for Avaya UC. This included design, implementation, and change management support for a large multinational company.

At Integrated Research, Simon worked as a Solutions Consultant for a brief period, before transitioning to BT as a Lead Avaya Consultant. Simon was responsible for providing technical consultancy and acting as the BT technical lead for a global deployment of Avaya Session Manager. Simon also worked on various Avaya Contact Centre upgrade projects.

Most recently, Simon has been working at Sabio as a Solution Architect. In this role, they are responsible for designing, pricing, and selling Customer Experience technology primarily in the financial services and retail sectors. Simon is also involved in technical solution design, creating statements of work, and defining professional services efforts for each project.

Simon Oliver earned their BSc in Applied Computing from Middlesex University, where they studied from 1999 to 2002.
