Tim Lu

Tim Lu is a Senior Data Science Engineer at Sabre Corporation since March 2023, following a role as a Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from September 2017 to March 2023. During the time at MIT, Tim Lu delivered numerous presentations on airline economics, optimized algorithms for revenue management, and taught airline industry courses to students. Prior experience includes an internship at PROS, where advanced airline demand forecasting methods were developed, and earlier roles as a student consultant and extracurricular advisor at the University of Illinois and Northeast Yucai Experimental School respectively. Tim Lu holds a PhD and a Master’s in Aerospace Engineering from MIT, along with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and completion of a Summer Exchange Program at ISAE.
