Kurt Johnson has extensive work experience in the IT and telecommunications industry. Kurt currently serves as the Vice President of IT & Cybersecurity at SAC Wireless. Prior to this role, Kurt held various senior leadership positions at U.S. Cellular, including Sr Director of Data & Governance and Sr Director of National Systems, Applications & Analytics. Kurt also worked as a Director of Engineering at U.S. Cellular. Kurt has previous experience at Motorola Solutions as a Program Manager and at Level 3 Communications as a Sr Manager of Systems Engineering. Kurt began their career at Arthur Andersen & Co., where they served as a Sr. Consultant and later as a Team Lead for Network Management Systems.
Kurt Johnson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Northern Michigan University. Kurt attended from 1990 to 1994. Later, from 2002 to 2006, they pursued a Masters of Science in Information Technology from DePaul University. Finally, from 2010 to 2012, they attended the Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management for an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration.
