Saccardo company has been established in 1958 as “F.lli Saccardo” company, as an electric motors manufacturer.
In the following years, the design and the realization of the first prototypes of flat-shape engines began, with the initial letters “MB”, immediately meeting a good market feedback, it evolved in 1990 as “Saccardo Elettromeccanica” company, with the new headquarters in Schio (VI), which quickly reached a leading market position in the production and marketing of flat-shape engines, which after a restyling took the current name of “SBC”.
In the meantime, other types of engines and the first electro-spindles have been developed.
The company specialized in 2001, with the opening of the current and more modern plant of Santorso (VI).
New CNC machines had been installed to increase the production and refine the process.
The new logistics and organizational structure give rise to different and separate assembly and testing areas for engines and electro-spindles.
The development of the R&D department allows the study and the realization of new types of electro-spindles, obtaining an expanded range.
