Mitchell West has more than two decades of experience in various marketing and leadership roles. Mitchell began their career at Mead Johnson Nutritionals, where they served as the Director of Marketing for all brands. Mitchell then joined GSK as the Director of CRM and eBusiness before starting their own consulting business, Mitchell E West Consultants, where they worked with clients such as GSK, Novartis, and Syngenta. West later became the General Manager at Doe-Anderson and then held leadership positions at Abbott, including Director of Marketing Immunology and Director of Corporate Marketing. In 2014, they joined Smith & Nephew Biotherapeutics as the Director of Product Marketing, where they led the strategy and marketing for several products in the Wound Care division. West then moved to Targetbase as the Vice President of Client Services, working with healthcare clients in the digital and mobile communications/content space. Most recently, they have been with Swiss-American CDMO, first as the Director of Marketing and later as the Vice President of Marketing and Client Engagement. In their various roles, West has demonstrated expertise in go-to-market strategy, digital/omni-channel/CRM tactics, product management, and leadership in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
Mitchell West attended Ohio University from 1983 to 1985, where they studied Chemical Engineering. Mitchell then transferred to The University of Texas at Arlington, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from 1986 to 1989.
