Omer Salimullah

Omer Salimullah has a diverse work experience in the banking and fintech industry. Omer is currently working as the Chief Operating Officer at SadaPay, a digital wallet in Pakistan that offers free financial services. Previously, they worked as the Head of Open Banking and Ecosystem Development at JS Bank, where they played a key role in conceptualizing Pakistan's first digital transformation of a bank through an open API strategy. Omer also served as an Advisor & Mentor at Fintech Factory, mentoring fintech startups that went on to win a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Before that, they started their own company, Wetekpk.com, in the media streaming industry. Additionally, Omer worked as the Chief Growth Officer at CreditFix.pk, a Gates Foundation funded startup, and as the Executive Vice President, Head of Alternate Distribution Channels at Meezan Bank Limited. Omer began their career at ABN AMRO Bank as the Head of Service Quality and also worked as a Project Manager at WEB Technologies.

From 1996 to 2000, Omer Salimullah attended RMIT University, where they completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems.
