Harald Bindeus has a diverse and extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Harald started their career in 1992 with Go America Tours, where they held various positions in operations and customer service. Harald then joined Hilton Resorts Hawaii in 1994 as the Regional Director of Leisure Sales, managing key accounts and developing new business opportunities.

In 1998, Harald became the Director of Sales & Marketing for the Hawaiian Waikiki Beach Hotel, overseeing the sales team and managing advertising and PR activities. Harald later joined Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa as the Director of Sales and Director of Revenue Management and Electronic Distribution, responsible for driving sales and revenue maximization efforts.

Harald's career continued to progress with their role as the Director of Sales & Marketing at the Doubletree Ocean Point Resort and Spa. Harald successfully increased room revenue and improved group booking pace while managing the resort's conversion to a Hilton Family Franchise.

From 2008 to 2018, Harald held various positions at the Grand Beach Hotel Miami Beach & Grand Beach Hotel Surfside, including Group Director of Sales & Marketing and Group Head of Commercial Strategy. Harald played a crucial role in successfully opening several hotels, implementing sales and marketing plans, and managing revenue management efforts.

In 2018, Harald established Global Hotel Revenue Solutions, where they provided sales, marketing, and revenue management assistance to hotel management companies and ownerships on a contract basis. Harald also worked on due diligence for a hotel purchase in Bangkok.

From 2020 to 2021, Harald was the Area Director of Sales & Marketing Micronesia at InterContinental Hotels Group, responsible for driving revenue generation and sales efforts for three hotels.

Prior to their current role, Harald worked at Evolution Hospitality as the Area Director of Revenue Management and later as the Director of Sales & Marketing.

Currently, Harald is the Director of Revenue Management / Transient Business Development at Saddlebrook Resort, overseeing revenue management efforts and transient business development for a 497-room independent resort undergoing renovation.

Throughout their career, Harald has achieved remarkable results, such as increasing transient business and overall room revenue, successfully opening new hotels, and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies.

Harald Bindeus obtained a Magister degree in Marketing & Organizational Behavior from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz. Harald attended this university from 1982 to 1987. Later, they pursued a Masters degree in Travel Industry Management at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, which they completed between 1989 and 1991.
