Introducing Saef

Saef is the first intelligent security system for luxury watches. It sets the highest standard of protection, integrated seamlessly into the timepiece with no compromise on craftsmanship.

Our team is no stranger to the impossible. Timothy Scheek, Mattias Scheek and Max van den Berg are the founders behind Mayht, the Dutch deep-tech startup whose Heartmotion technology was acquired by Sonos for $100 million in 2022. There, we proved extraordinary technology could fit into impossibly small spaces. With Saef, we are doing it again.

The luxury watch world faces a real and growing problem: theft, loss, and the insurance complexity that follows. Until now, there has been no elegant, definitive answer.

Saef is that answer. Our ecosystem combines hardware integrated invisibly into the watch, a seamless app, and real-time data intelligence, giving owners true peace of mind and insurers the tamper-proof verification they have always needed. Always on. No buttons. No charging. No compromise on the watch itself.

The best timepieces in the world deserve the best protection in the world. Welcome to Saef.
