Brian Beatty

Mr. Beatty is currently the COO at SAExploration. Mr. Beatty, the original founder of SAE in 2006, began his career in the seismic industry in 1980 working for Veritas in seismic field management. At Veritas (now CGGVeritas), he was instrumental in establishing new country operations and most of its international operations. During his last 15 years with Veritas, Mr. Beatty managed all of the South American operations and was successful in building veritas’ business in Peru, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, and Bolivia. Upon starting SAE, Mr. Beatty positioned the Company to very quickly secure an 80% market share in Peru, as well as substantial market shares in Colombia. SAE has maintained this position since 2008 and continues to see substantial growth in all of its markets. In 2011, Mr. Beatty led the Company’s expansion into Canada through its acquisition of Datum Exploration. Most recently, he led the Company to be the only major seismic contractor operating in Bolivia and Papua, New Guinea. Mr. Beatty provides unmatched leadership in Latin American operations and has been the key to SAE’s overwhelming success within the industry.
