Ryan Abney

Mr. Abbey began his career in Investment Banking in 2009 with Canaccord Genuity Incorporated. In just two short years as Analyst, he was promoted to Associate. Mr. Abbey’s relationship with SAE originated during this time, as he was Sole Financial Advisor for SAE merger. In 2013, Mr. Abney joined SAE as VP of Capital Markets and Investor Relations. During his time in this position, Mr. Abney sourced, negotiated and closed debt-for-equity swap with Fidelity Investments, facilitated and managed successful underwriting of $20m revolving credit and built an Investor Relations Department from the ground up. In 2016, Mr. Abney transitioned into the role of VP of Finance, appointing him an executive officer by the Board of Directors. Mr. Abney managed all accounting and finance functions, while supervising direct reports from 8 different countries.
