Kevin McCay

Chief Operating Officer at Safe Catch

Kevin McCay has extensive experience in operations and management roles in the food technology industry. Kevin started their career in 2006 at Micro Analytical Systems, Inc, where they held various positions including Operations Manager, Director of Engineering, Senior Director of Engineering and Operations, and ultimately Vice President of Operations. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing food testing operations at regional facilities and managing research and development of new testing technologies.

In 2010, McCay joined Safe Harbor Certified Seafood as Vice President of Operations, where they continued to lead food testing operations and oversee research and development. Kevin held this position until 2013.

McCay then worked as a contractor at CPG Start Up Consulting from 2013 to 2015.

In 2014, McCay joined Safe Catch as Vice President of Operations, a food technology firm specializing in pure seafood products. Kevin played a crucial role in launching a new product in 2015.

Finally, in 2018, McCay became Chief Operations Officer at Safe Catch, Inc, where they continue to contribute their expertise in operations and management.

Kevin McCay attended Ukiah High School from 1996 to 2000, where they did not obtain a degree or specialize in any field of study. After completing their high school education, they went on to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering at the University of California, Davis from 2000 to 2006.
