Michael Johnson

Michael Johnson is a results-driven Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) with over 30 years of experience in cyber risk management and digital transformation within global enterprises. They have held executive roles at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Department of Energy, and Capital One, overseeing substantial budgets and large teams. Currently, Johnson serves on the Board of Directors for Safe Security and Nisos, and actively participates in various advisory roles while pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science at the University of California, San Diego. Their leadership is distinguished by a commitment to diversity and inclusion, as well as deep collaboration across multiple sectors.
