Safe Space Community is a not-for-profit organisation based on the Mornington Peninsula that focuses on improving mental health, connection, and belonging. We believe that prevention starts with people coming together. When individuals feel supported, understood, and connected, they are more likely to thrive.

Our purpose is to make mental health support simple, human, and accessible. We run free weekly sessions where people can talk openly, slow down, and reconnect. Our mentoring programs and school workshops help young people strengthen resilience, communication, and self-awareness while building confidence in who they are.

Everything we do is grounded in our core values of connection, community, vulnerability, authenticity, kindness, and growth. These values shape the way we lead conversations, support others, and create impact. Safe Space is not about fixing anyone. It’s about creating an environment where people feel safe to be themselves, where real conversations can happen, and where growth naturally follows.

We partner with schools, parents, and local organisations to deliver programs that normalise conversations around mental health and encourage positive, practical action. Our community approach bridges the gap between professional help and everyday support by meeting people where they are and helping them move forward at their own pace.

Through consistent programs, meaningful collaboration, and genuine connection, Safe Space Community continues to grow as a trusted presence across Victoria. Whether through mentoring, workshops, or open community sessions, our goal remains clear; to help people feel seen, supported, and empowered to live healthier, more connected lives.
