Daniel Levy

Daniel Levy is a distinguished computer scientist and co-founder of Safe Superintelligence Inc., where the mission focuses on achieving safe superintelligence since June 2024. Previously, Daniel served as a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI from March 2022 to June 2024. Daniel's early career includes research internships at Google, where collaboration on differential privacy led to a NeurIPS 2021 publication, and work on MCMC methods resulting in an ICLR 2018 publication. Additionally, a software engineering internship at Facebook involved applying machine learning techniques in active learning for text classification. Daniel holds both a PhD and a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Stanford University, obtained between 2015 and 2021.
