Network Engineer at Safe Systems

Michael Bass has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Michael began their career at Starbucks in 2001, where they served as a Shift Supervisor and was responsible for managing a team of 5-7 employees. In 2005, they transitioned to working as a Bartender/Server at Taco Mac until 2006, and then at Mona Lisa Ristorante from 2007 to 2009. During this time, they gained valuable customer service and hospitality skills. In 2009, Michael worked as a Brand Ambassador at Fusion Event Staffing before moving on to Best Buy in 2011. At Best Buy, they held multiple roles, including Advanced Repair Agent, Geek Squad Supervisor, Operations Manager, and finally Geek Squad Manager. These positions allowed him to develop skills in inventory management, coaching, training, performance management, and client resolution. Since 2017, Michael has been employed at Safe Systems as a Network Analyst and later as a Network Engineer, specializing in network infrastructure management.

Michael Bass attended Greater Atlanta Christian School from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a College Preparatory Diploma in College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program. Following that, they attended Georgia State University from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Science. In terms of certifications, Michael obtained the CCNA: Routing and Switching certification from Cisco in November 2018 and the Juniper Networks Certified Associate - Junos (JNCIA-Junos) certification from Juniper Networks in May 2020.
