SAFEchild, is the only child advocacy center in Wake County, the SAFEchild Advocacy Center providing comprehensive medical evaluations for children from birth to 17 when there is an open investigation for child sexual abuse, physical abuse and/or neglect. Along with SAFEchild's advocacy center providing crucial services, SAFEchild also offers education programming to families by helping them break negative parenting patterns, improve communication and relationship skills, and take advantage of community resources.
