Susan Bisaillon

Susan Bisaillon has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Susan started their career as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care and Coronary Care Units at St. Joseph's Health Centre in Toronto from 1986 to 1991. Susan then worked as a Clinical Educator at The Toronto Hospital (University Health Network) from 1991 to 1992, where they developed and coordinated educational activities for various clinical programs. From 1992 to 1994, they served as a Clinical Nurse Specialist at The Toronto Hospital, providing expertise in patient care, clinical practice, education, and research.

In 1994, Susan became a Nurse Manager in the Peter Monk Cardiac Program at The Toronto Hospital. Susan managed three cardiac units and led a redesign of the cardiac catheterization labs. Susan held this position until 1998.

From 2014 to 2016, Susan worked at Halton Healthcare Services as the Chief Operating Officer and later as the Chief Executive Officer of Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. In these roles, they provided strategic and operational leadership, ensuring quality care delivery and leading operational readiness for the new Oakville Hospital.

Susan's most recent position was as the Chief Executive Officer at The Safehaven Project for Community Living, starting in 2016.
