If your lawyers use AI on client work, your confidential client information is one subpoena away from discovery.

SafeIdea is AI compliance infrastructure for legal professionals. We sit between the attorney and the cloud, so the power of leading AI models is available on privileged work without privileged content ever leaving the firm.

SafeIdea's local AI models run on the attorney's own machine, detecting and masking sensitive case information (client names, deal terms, litigation strategy) before any information reaches the cloud AI provider. The cloud AI never sees the original.

And as attorneys work with SafeIdea, it builds their own Index: a searchable, de-identified knowledge base of the firm's own work product, accessible through AI.

After U.S. v. Heppner waived privilege after cloud AI use and In re OpenAI established that chats are discoverable, architecture — not contracts with cloud providers — decides whether AI-assisted work stays privileged. SafeIdea is the architecture.

AI for lawyers. Compliance built in.
