Pranav Patel

Pranav Patel has had a successful career in the consumer services segment. In 2019, they became the Founder & CEO of Sonaya Group, a fast growing franchisee and multi unit operator. Since opening their first Great Clips salon in 2014, they have grown to 14 high performing locations, making them the largest franchisee in New Mexico. Pranav also has an MDA with ZIPS Dry Cleaners. From 2006 to 2011, they were the Senior Vice President of Operations & Co-founder of TNJ Management, a boutique hotel management firm. During this time, they oversaw operations on a portfolio with a combined asset value of over $100mm. In 2011, they co-founded Safely, a company that answers the two most pressing questions in the vacation home rental industry. Pranav also co-founded HotelUpgrade, a mobile app that allows hotels to discretely attract their most valuable guests. In 2015, they became an Advisor for HelloShift, a company that helps hotels streamline their operations. Lastly, from 2011 to present, they have been the President of Matiya World.

Pranav Patel completed their MBA in Policy & Planning from the UNM Anderson School of Management in 2006. Before that, they had obtained a BBA in Marketing Management from the same institution in 2004.
