Joanne Chen

Joanne Chen is a seasoned venture capitalist serving as a General Partner at Foundation Capital since July 2014. With expertise in selecting investments, notable achievements include leading seed investments in companies such as Tubi, Jasper, CaptivateIQ, and Tonkean, among others, and participating in significant acquisitions like EraDB and Mya. Additionally, Joanne holds a partner position at Fulcrum and is active as a board member and investor in multiple startups including Tennr, Arcade, and SafelyYou. Joanne earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and an M.B.A. specializing in Finance, Strategic Management, and Entrepreneurship from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
