Dan also serves as the Committee Chair for the AHA ASHRM Educational Development Committee and holds a position on the Board of Directors for the HFMA Metropolitan New York Chapter, contributing to the financial management field in healthcare. As the Founder and President of ServiceSPAN, Dan has been instrumental in delivering $150 million in enterprise software solutions, particularly in telecommunications and medical laboratories. Additionally, Dan hosts a YouTube channel for DeRiskingHealthcare and has an extensive background in software engineering from positions held at Stony Brook University and self-employment, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Stony Brook University and postgraduate studies in Business Administration at Dowling College.
